Peggy Louise Doolittle, 71, was born March 14, 1949. She went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on July 25, 2020 surrounded by her loved ones, after a 6 year courageous battle with cancer.
Peggy loved the Lord with all her heart. She was always willing to serve her church and was known as a true prayer warrior. She was a long-time member of Battlefield Assembly of God, Pastored by Richard Orrell who was her uncle, and she loved and grew up with as a brother. Her hobbies included cake decorating and was an amazing seamstress. But, her most favorite job was not only raising her three children, but also helping to raise her grandchildren and great grandchildren. For those that knew her, knew her for the sweet, kind, loving Godly woman she was. Her greatest joy of all was being a loving Wife, Mom and Nana to her family and teaching them all about Jesus. When we realized her healing was not going to be here on Earth, she spent her last days happy and loved surrounded by her close family.
She is preceded in death by the love of her life of almost 49 years; Dennis, Mother; Margaret Erwin and brother; Jim White.
She is survived by three children, Lisa Folenius and husband David, Denise Hankey and husband Les and David Doolittle; Four grandchildren, Ashlee Clifton and husband Heath, Colby Backus and husband Jed, Katie Salchow and Austin Wasson; four great-grandchildren, Mason, Brady, Ella and Ava, close family friends Patty Conness and Clifford Bumgardner, and countless cousins, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 28, 2020 from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM and Funeral Services will be Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Greenlawn Funeral Home East with burial following at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
