Memorial services for Phillip Leland Johannes age 79 of Blue Eye, Missouri will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the Peace Lutheran Church in Hollister with Pastor Emile Bartos officiating. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson.
He died November 19, 2014 at Cox Medical Center in Branson.
He was born June 25, 1935 in Missouri Valley, Iowa the son of Ralph Dewey and Dollie Bonham Johannes. He was a retired General Contractor and was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Hollister, Missouri. He was a former resident of Iowa and moved to this area several years ago.
Survivors are his wife; Sonja Cody Johannes of the home. Five children, Connie Clausen of Hampton, Iowa, Steve Johannes of Columbia Heights, Minnesota, Stanley Johannes of Raymore, Missouri, Dale Johannes of Lowell, Arkansas and Keith Johannes of Panora, Iowa. One brother, Carl Johannes of Jourdanton, Texas and one sister, Lillian Johannes of Mason City, Iowa and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Donna Fick and Loretta Johannes, two brothers, Robert and Art Johannes and one granddaughter, Abigail Johannes.
