Phyllis Ann Brinker 69, Springfield, MO. passed away Saturday, August 29, 2020, at Mercy Hospital after a battle with Covid-19. She was born on November 16, 1950, in St. Louis, MO. to Earl and Anne (Smith) Luraschi. Phyllis was a retired restaurant server. She loved her daisies and collecting coffee cups from her own travels and those of her family and friends. She also loved being a mother to everyone she met, earning her the name “Mama Phyll” she was known for her big heart and caring for others. She loved the time she spent with her family, her children and grandchildren, great-grandchildren, especially her husband Mark, whom was the love of her life.. She was known by her family and friends as “Feisty Phyllis”, for her spunk and zest for life.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Michelle Long. She is survived by her husband, Mark, her three daughters: Jenifer Cimino (James Vanmuysen), Danielle Stauffer (Chris Andrews), and Corrie Shoop (J.J.) two sons: Michael Stauffer and Matthew Brinker, ten grandchildren: Kaitlin, Jacob, Brady, Blake, Holden, Zoe, Breckin, Callie, and Abryn, and two great-grandchildren: Matthew and Lily Wilson. She is also survived by her two special sisters-in-law: Dawn Brinker (Treece) and Robyn Farrow (Tom)
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Private burial will be at a later date.
