Quinton Leon Piper, age 80, of Bolivar, MO, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015, in his home. He was born April 4, 1934, in Flemington, MO, to Willard and Eva (Fisher) Piper. He was a member of the Flemington Christian Church. He is a US Army Korean War Veteran. He was a member of the Engineering Operators Local # 101. He was the owner operator of the Belton Paving Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his daughter Sondra Sanders and husband Steven of Springfield, MO; his companion Vivian Sickman of Bolivar, MO; one aunt Wanda Piper of Bolivar, MO; as well as many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at Pitts Chapel Bolivar, MO. Burial will follow at Flemington Cemetery, Flemington, MO, with full military honors. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, March 24, 2015, in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Boys Ranch: 5549 N Highway 13 Brighton, MO 65617. Arrangements have been entrusted to Pitts Chapel Bolivar, MO.
