Donald S. Hansbury left a message on February 1, 2023:
I was Q's RA his freshman year when he first started attending Marshall University. During the height of the pandemic, nobody was socializing much and it would have been perfectly acceptable for people to stay closed off. Even in the midst of a global pandemic, Q made an effort to meet new people and to leave them with a smile when he walked away. This has been the case ever since he came to Marshall. He shined a bright light in a lot of people's lives. Quinton was one of the highlights of my time being an RA, and I know he impacted a lot of people when he stepped into the role as well. Everyone that knew him will miss him dearly.

I got to know Quinton and his family at St Louis Childrens hospital. As a nurse there are patients that come into your life and stay right there in your heart. You are in my heart and have been since the day we met. Much love to your family.
Susanna Combs left a message on February 1, 2023:
You guys practically became my second family and Q was my best friend. He was there during the good and the bad and we could always have deep conversations about the Lord and things in life. I remember all the car rides, lake days, life groups, church days etc. Playing Axis and Allies, watching Lord of the Rings, eating good food. I know this is a hard season for you and I send my regards. Q made a great impact in this world.

Q was my first love. First boy I ever kissed, and the first to take me on a date. I remember when he got really sick in elementary, he was in the hospital for months. My class facetimed him every day, he would show us his Lego builds. My dad came to our school with the 501st to raise money for his family. We "dated"on and off through elementary to 8th grade. More than anything he was my best friend in those times. As we got older we grew estranged. But when we had EIP together senior year our friendship began to blossom again. It was like we never had time apart. He was so excited to get into marshal. Last I talked to him he was telling all about the girl he loved. I will miss him everyday. Their will be a hole in my heart where Q left his mark. As will their be for many other people. I send much love to brooke, and hailey. And the rest of his family. Just find comfort in the arms of your loved ones. And know my family is mourning with yours.
