To Allen's Family and Friends, I'm coming to this celebration with a shocked, heavy heart... for now. I'll be in the praise mode soon! I knew Allen & Reva professionally since early '80's & we continued our warm regards for many years. Allen was a huge inspiration to me, and was uniquely gifted as a Pastor, Teacher, Mentor, and Co-laborer. He brought much-needed light into a darkened world. I'm grieved my search for him came too late to tell him one last time, "Thank you... for giving to the Lord. I am a life that was changed...." Till we meet again. Bridgette

Dr Minor pastored at my grandparents church in Hamilton Ohio. I think it’s likely some of my extended family believed because of his teaching. Thankful for his life. This morning I thought of him and found this.

Saddened to see my dear Army buddy from Berlin has died. I remember him with great fondness, our trip to London together, appearing in a play for Dr. Billy Graham for a world-wide evangelical congress held in Berlin. You live in my heart my dear friend. Jim Kelly.

Al was a kind, interesting, and caring fellow minister. I always loved time spent with Al as part of our DOC clergy cluster. I loved his focus on persons and genuine kindness. I will miss Al - go with God, Dear Brother! Love and prayers for Al's family and for his beloved Branson Christian Church family.

Allen was a friend and colleague while I served at Marshfield Christian Church. I always appreciated his curiosity and remember fondly our many conversations about everything from church to theology to mental health and so much more. May you sense the comfort of God's presence and cherish your memories of Allen.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Pastor Al's caring, wisdom, love for other people, open-mindedness and passion to share his understanding of the scriptures was the reason I became a Believer. He was so generous with his time, no matter what else was going on, meeting with me weekly, answering my many questions, expanding my thinking, helping me understand and being so patient. He was unique in so many ways and I feel blessed that God brought him into my life. My heart breaks for Janet and all the others in the church family who will dearly miss him. He is up there keeping watch and his presence will always be felt.
