Richard Dean 81, Kimberling City, MO. passed away October 10, 2019. He was born in Leoti, Kansas, on February 18, 1938, to Charles and Mary Dean. He was retired from Shelter Insurance Company, after many years in management. He was a member of Our Lady of the Cove Catholic Church, he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus (4 th Degree). his favorite hobby was going on cruises with his wife and friends. He also enjoyed having his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren all together at one time, when it was possible. Richard loved the “Taco Tuesday” neighborhood group and many other close relatives and friends.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Floyd Dean and Mary Margaret Dean, his first wife, Mary Jo Dean, his two sons: Anthony “Tony” Dean and Charles “Chuck” Dean a sister, Mary Charles Henningen He is survived by his wife, Nell Ann Dean, a daughter: Mary Kay Adams and her husband, Sam, three step-sons: John Gaunt and his wife, Debbie, Jeffrey Gaunt and Jay Gaunt, two sisters: Patricia Stubble and Barbara Rich.
Graveside services will be held at Wichita County Cemetery in Marienthal, KS at 11:00 am on November 2, 2019. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady Of The Cove, Catholic Church Kimberling City, MO.
