Richard S. Haile, age 75, of Springfield, Missouri passed away January 15, 2021 due to surgical complications. He was born on October 8, 1945 in Springfield, Missouri
to Leland and Beulah Haile. Richard’s family moved around a lot and as such he would graduate High School in Newton, Iowa. He would return to Missouri with his loving
wife Hazel. Richard worked for many years at the MFA Mill but would retire from Cox Health. He was also an active member of the Hillside
Baptist Church where he attended services. Richard will be remembered for his vast collection and love of Eagles. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Hazel,
and survived by his daughter Shayla Akin (husband Philip); three grandchildren, Scott Akin (wife Ally), Kyle Akin (wife Tara), and Eric Akin; five great-grandchildren,
Eyzaiah Akin, Jameson Akin, Faith Akin, Lane Akin, and Mary Akin; brothers, Ralph Haile (wife Denise) and Herbert Haile (wife Jackie); sisters, Faye Haile, Loretta Batson
(husband David), Brenda Whitecotten (husband Don), and Linda Whitecotten (husband Ken); and many other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 20,
2021 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North at 10:00 a.m. with a graveside at Evergreen Cemetery in Republic, Missouri to follow.
