Rickie Lynn Bishop “Uncle Rick”, passed away on Tuesday, June 9th 2020. He was born February 16. 1951. He was preceded in death by His father, Emery Burton Bishop, his mother Clessa Raponzel Bishop, and sisters, Laura Bishop and Sandra Bishop. He also had many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and people who called him Framily.
Rick spent his life in service to others. He enlisted in the Airforce in Sep of 1970 where he served until he retired in Oct 1990 When he wasn’t serving our country he was taking care of his mom. After his mom passed Rick turned his attention to the babies of the family who he loved to spoil. Rick loved trivia and was possibly happiest watching Jeopardy with a cold Coke. Rick visited and checked on his neighbors in his apartment complex, who will all miss his gentle nature.
Rick’s sudden passing will leave a hole here with us. He was one of a kind. But Rick is rejoined with his parents and sisters. Any earthly pain is a distant and fading memory compared to the love he is experiencing now.
