Angie Henry left a message on June 17, 2020:
I love you, dear sweet cousin. You were more like an Aunt to me and like a second mom when I was with you. You taught me so much in life. You taught me not to be afraid of the water, which was something I struggled with until the age of 5 or 6. You had such patience and warmth with all of us kids growing up and I know we all watched and learned from you. I will never forget riding with you and Jess in the black Chevy on the way to the lake house. One particular time sticks in my memory forever. It was raining so hard one summer day that we could barely see the road in front of us. You weren't phased a bit because you knew the curvy road in Lampe like the back of your hand. You got Jess and I to the lake safely without pulling over once and Jess and I were in awe of you and how well you handled those curves with no visibility. I always looked up to you. Always thought to myself that if I turned out to be half as strong as you that I would be proud of myself. So many memories of you in nature and in your true element. That is the way I will always remember you. I hope there is a little special slice of Heaven for you where you can still be in that element. See you soon.
