Roberta Anne (Bobbie) Finley (nee: Goudelock) was born June 20, 1941 in Springfield, Missouri to Robert W. Goudelock and Freda L. Goudelock (nee: Stoops).
A graduate of Parkview High School, she was a preschool teacher, floral designer, administrative assistant, music librarian, and beloved mother to her children and everyone else they dragged home, who she dubbed “her strays”.
She is survived by her husband James Finley, her children Lori Davis (Bruce), Andrew Morrow (Laura), Lynette Elliott (Daniel), and Melinda Morrow; and her grandchildren Daniel, Peter, Abigail, and Samuel. She leaves us to join her parents and her brother Paul Goudelock.
Bobbie was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Beta Sigma Phi International, and the Ladies Oriental Shrine. She was a fabulous practitioner of fiber arts of all kinds and instrumental music, a lover of animals, and an avid reader.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, November 19 at 11:00 A.M at Wesley UMC, with visitation before from 9:00 – 11:00 A.M. Internment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to thank the leaders of BSA Troop 235 and the congregation and pastoral staff of Wesley UMC for their love and support.
