Roberta Kathleen Medders of Springfield, Missouri passed to her heavenly home Thursday, August 20, 2021, after a two-year illness. She was born December 30, 1932, the youngest of five daughters born to Charles Leroy and Roberta (Weir) Radford of Alba, Missouri. Roberta Kathleen Medders of Springfield, Missouri passed to her heavenly home Thursday, August 20, 2021, after a two-year illness. She was born December 30, 1932, the youngest of five daughters born to Charles Leroy and Roberta (Weir) Radford of Alba, Missouri. She was united in marriage to her surviving husband, Truman Lavern Medders in 2001. She was preceded in death by brothers Clifford Radford, Jasper, Missouri and Everett Radford, Arlington, Virginia; sisters Dorris Nadine Mooney, Rogersville, Missouri; Helen Louise Hale, Kansas City, Missouri; and Mary AnnaV Anderson, Springdale, Arkansas. One sister, Virginia Lee Gray, Joplin, Missouri, is still living. She is survived by son Steven Emil Koch (Carol), Dallas, Georgia, and daughter Jannell Kay Haner, Carterville, Missouri; grandson Brent Wayne Pierce (Loye), Neck City, Missouri; great-grandson Gage Michael Pierce and great-granddaughter Madison Layne (Hunter) Haslip, Purcell, Missouri; great-grandson Steven Koch and great-granddaughter Lindsey Koch; and two great-great-granddaughters, Nova Leigh and Ava Jo Haslip; and many nieces and nephews. She was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church for many years and worked as a property manager all her adult life. She enjoyed fishing and was active in ballroom dancing instruction and competition in earlier years. She is much loved and will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. Visitation will be Wednesday August 25, 2021, from 10-11 am with services following at 11-12 pm in Greenlawn South Funeral Home, 441 W Battlefield, Springfield, Missouri; burial service at 2 pm in Paradise Cemetery, Highway 49 and M eight miles north of Carthage, Missouri.
