Ronald Elbert Jacks, age 77, of Springfield, MO, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Maranatha Village. He was born January 22, 1938, in Webster County, MO, to Leonard and Grace (Mott) Jacks. He was a member of the Fremont Baptist Church. He served in the United States Air Force. Ronald loved collecting, coutry music, fishing and working with and helping people.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Benny Jacks. He is survived by his long-time partner Lois Medley his brothers and a sister: Henry Jacks, Belton, MO, Leonard Eldon Jacks, Abileen, TX and Virginia Yvonne Dockwiller, Austin, TX. his children; Evert Lee Medley, Strafford, MO, Ray Medley, Lebanon, MO, Kenneth Medley, Springfield, MO, Joyce Kaye Eversmeyer, Pacific, MO, Danny Kyle Medley, Okmulgee, OK Jody Wayne Medley, Springfield, MO.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, August 3, 2015, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO. Burial will be held in Fordland, MO Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Greenlawn North Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
