Ruby Rae Thomas, 97, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2015 in Springfield, Missouri. She was born June 7, 1918 in Ozark County, Missouri. She married Archie Everett Thomas on June 21, 1936; they were married for 59 years before he passed in 1995. She was a life time member of the Church of Christ.
Ruby is survived by her son, Douglas A. Thomas and wife Pam of South Dakota; her daughter, Anita G. Peters and husband Mike of Texas; five grandchildren, Jeff Thomas, Kristin Reynolds, Amy Tippett, Angela Vargo, and Jordan Thomas; eight great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home South, Springfield, Missouri. Celebration of Life services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Springfield, Missouri.
