Ruth Evelyn (Wood) Duffey, born March 7, 1928, in Kansas City, Missouri, passed on Sunday, September 20, 2020, at Republic Nursing Home and Rehab in Republic, Missouri. She was 92 years old.
She was the third oldest of six children, born to Oscar Floyd Wood and Dora (White) Wood. Ruth married John William Duffey on August 13, 1947. John and Ruth raised four children in Kansas City.
She is survived by her four children John W. Duffey II, Cynthia Louise Donegan, Cheryl Jean Wendt, and David Michael Duffey, eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Ruth was an excellent artist and enjoyed her paintings. She was active for many years in Studio 55.
