Scott W. Sharp was born May 28, 1963 in Springfield, MO and passed away February 13 in Mercy Hospital from complications of open heart surgery. His family moved to Fair Grove, MO when he was three where he attended school K- 12, graduating in 1981. He began his work history at Corporate Coachworks, to Syntex, to Sartorius and lastly Multi-Craft Contractors. The many friends he made at each place have remained constant through the years.
Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents: Garette and Josie Boyd, Elbert and Thelma Sharp and his sister Karen Dawn Sharp Hubbs.
Scott is survived by his loving wife, Shelly, his children, Ryan (Michael) Baggett, OKC, Jordan (James) Buckley, Ash Grove, and Tyler, Springfield, Shelly’s sons, Andrew Ruesch, Castle Rock, CO, Aaron Ruesch, Ash Grove. The additional loves of his life: grandson James Levi Buckley, granddaughters Nora Ann Buckley and Colbie Dawn Baggett. His father David Sharp (Karolyn), Ash Grove, mother Ruby Hilton, brother-in-law Tom Hubbs, Fair Grove, Shelly’s parents Wayne and Sandie Hanna, sister-in-law Wendy (Mark) Millsap, nephews Justin and Nathan Garrett, niece Rachel Millsap, all of Springfield. In addition are uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, classmates and co-workers at MCC.
Heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff of 3-E ICU for the excellent and compassionate care of Scott and for their many acts of kindness to the entire family.
Visitation will be at Greenlawn East Wednesday, February 17 from 6-8 p.m. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 18 at Greenlawn East with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
