Sharon Denise Thomas, 72, passed away January 23, 2021.
She was born September 7, 1948, in San Francisco, CA. She was survived by her husband Raymond; Sons, Roland Young, and Wife Martie of Springfield MO; Corey Anderson and wife Julie of Carbondale, IL; Brandon Thomas and friend Angie Counts of Springfield, MO and daughter Leslie Reed of Springfield, MO as well as 13 grandchildren and 8 grandchildren.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents Welton Anderson Sr. Father and Martha Jean Blackwell Mother; Stepfather Rico Blackwell; and sister Winfield Anderson brothers, Welton Anderson, Jr; Bruno Blackwell; Bardello Blackwell, Barrados Blackwell; sisters, Alice Anderson; Janos Tindal and husband Marvin; cousin, Lennie Ruby; dear friend Gladys Young; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Some of Sharon’s favorite things were cook outs with family and friends, traveling, thrift shopping, playing board games, photography. And taking care of her dear toy poodle, pepper, for 15 years.
Sharon was baptized as one of Jehovah’s witnesses on May 18, 1975 and was able to pioneer for several years. She loved attending assemblies and conventions and teaching others about Jehovah.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm Saturday, February 13,2021, via zoom in lieu of flowers.
