Sharon L. Wiggs age 71, passed away peacefully in her sleep at Point Lookout Nursing and Rehab, in Hollister, Missouri on Tuesday, November 17, at 1:22 AM. Sharon will be greatly missed by all that had the opportunity to know and love her.
Sharon was born on May 17, 1938 in Spencer County, Indiana to Everett and Eathel Rainey Clark. She married after graduating high school to Jim Wiggs. They had three beautiful children in the Evansville, Indiana area, and later moved to Owensboro, Kentucky. Sharon was a hard worker, being a vital part of several businesses they started in the Owensboro area.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter. Jim Wiggs Jr of Owensboro, Kentucky and Keith Wiggs of Chandler, Arizona, and Jayne Howell of Rockledge, Florida. Five Grandchildren, Megan and Jordan Howell, Shawna, Darren and Holly Wiggs and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers and one sister, Robert Clark of Tennyson, Indiana, Roger Clark of Mulvane, Kansas and Linda Jackson of Ridgedale, Missouri.
A memorial service will be held in her honor in late January at Koehler Funeral Home in Boonville, Indiana with interment in Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville.
Local arrangements and cremation were under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home of Branson, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the MS Society would be greatly appreciated.
