Shelia Akin, 49, of Springfield, Mo lost her battle to cancer & passed peacefully at her home on 12/25/14. Shelia was employed by Hamilton Properties. She is survived by her husband, Mike Akin, who called her “Pretty”, parents Roger & Delores Dick, daughter Amanda Coble & husband Tom and son Nathan Akin, grandchildren Tyler & Wyatt Storms & bonus granddaughter Lillian, brothers, sisters, nieces & nephews as well as many friends. Shelia’s heart was larger than life, proven by how many kids called her Momma Shelia. She will be missed. Visitation will be held at Greenlawn East on Monday 12/29/14 at 6pm-8pm, with Funeral service on Tuesday 12/30/14 at 1:00pm. Burial to follow at Eastlawn Cemetery.
