Shirley Ann Woodcock was born August 11, 1934 in Kansas City Missouri. She passed peacefully in her home to go be with the Lord on October 19, 2014 at 2:45 p.m. while surrounded by family and friends. She has been an inspiration to many who has witnessed her bravery while battling many years of cancer. This journey would never have been possible without the support of our nurses from Hospice Compassus. Kaylene and Jamie were our angels through this.
Shirley loved spending time with her family and friends, attending MSU lady bear games, traveling and gardening. Everyone who met Shirley was touched by her sweet and loving spirit and infectious smile.
Until we meet again we will keep smiling and filling the room with laughter as you did. You will be missed Mom.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Woodcock (the love of her life and soul mate)
