Shirley Marie Johnson age 54, of Bolivar, MO, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023, in her home.  She was born January 1, 1969, in Dumas, TX, to Paul and Melverta Carr.  Shirley raised her three children prior to being united in marriage December 30, 1999, to Donald Johnson.  She is a member of the Southern Hills Baptist Church Bolivar, MO.

          She is preceded in death by her father and her stepfather Robert Gresham.

          Shirley is survived by her husband Donald Johnson; three children: Jamie Roberts and husband Sam of Bolivar, MO, Brandon Carr and fiancée Amber Evans of Springfield, MO, and Jeremy Hernandez and fiancée Sharon Bradshaw of Springfield, MO; nine grandchildren; one sister Paula Newman and husband William of Hickory, NC; five brothers: Joe Mauldin of Bolivar, MO, James Mauldin of Kansas City, MO, Robert Mauldin and wife Maria of Manassas, VA, Bobby Gresham of Kansas City, MO, and Shawn Gresham of Bolivar, MO; as well as many other relatives and friends.

          Visitation will be held Friday, February 17, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Southern Hills Baptist Church Bolivar, MO.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Ted Bachman officiating.  Online condolences may be made at: www.greenlawnfuneralhome.com.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Pitts Chapel Bolivar, MO.
