Shirley Willene Fillman, 80, of Springfield MO, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. She was born November 21,1941 in Aurora, MO and is the daughter of Joe Curtis & Ella Mae Sullivan. Shirley worked for the Missouri Pacific Railroad for many years before retiring.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Fillman, her son, Matthew Lee Steele, her parents, sister, Betty George, and brothers, John (Porky) Sullivan and Jimmy Sullivan. She is survived by her brother, Bobby Joe Sullivan & wife Marilyn, and two sons: Mark Steele and his wife Nancy (Nance to Granma),
and Bryan Waddell and his wife Becky. Also, five grandchildren: Tyler Steele and his wife Jennifer, Amber Steele, Britney Steele, Bailey Webb and her husband, Josh, and Megan Waddell. Her five great-grandchildren are Noah Steele, Bentley Webb, Gracie Webb, Faith Webb,
and Avonlea Webb. She was also loved by numerous nieces and nephews. Shirley was known as “Aunt Tootie” and “Granma” to many. She understood life and lived it to the fullest, and she was always the most loving and caring human being. She will be deeply missed by those lucky
enough to have known and loved her. Graveside services will be Tuesday, July 26, 2022, 10:00 AM at Orange Cemetery in Aurora, MO.
