Tommy Dee Roe, 49, Springfield, MO. passed away January 8, 2022, in Mercy Hospital Hospital, after a one month battle with Covid 19. He was born in Springfield, MO. on March 11, 1972, to Tommy Duane and Carolyn Rebecca (Jones) Roe. He was a 1990 graduate of Hillcrest High School and worked as a driver and warehouseman, for 20 years. Tommy enjoyed sports, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers, he also enjoyed sport card collecting and Fantasy Football. When he had time, he loved history, theatre, coin collecting, and Rock & Roll music. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. On November 18, 2001, Tommy Dee and Carol Lynn Slavens were united in marriage at the Unity Spiritual Center in Springfield, MO.
Tommy was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Duane Roe, and his son, Tommy Robert Lee Roe, and his step-father, Dennis Cheek. He is survived by his wife, Carol Lynn Roe, his mother, Carolyn Rebecca Cheek, his children: Ashlee (Roe) Franklin and her husband, Michael, Eric Thomas Roe and his wife, Jessica, and Ethan Lane Roe, one grandchild: Cooper Franklin, a sister: Jennifer (Roe) Gerster and her husband, Brock, a sister, Melissa Roe and a brother, Tyler Roe. He is also survived by his niece: Kayla Carpenter and two nephews: Corey and Carson Carpenter.
