Tony Levelle Sterling, Age 54 was born April 19, 1965 at St.
John’s Hospital in Springfield, Missouri to his mother Patsy Sterling and father, James Duke who preceded him in death, both of Springfield, Missouri. He was the middle child of three boys.
Tony graduated from Central High School, in Springfield, Missouri in
1983. After graduation, he worked as a shop foreman for Earl Scheib Paint and Body Shop, where he dedicated 28 years of his young adult life.
Tony loved watching and playing basketball, he enjoyed watching college and NFL football games, but his true love was watching NASCAR racing.
Tony was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in the presence of his mom and two brothers, who also cared for him during his time of illness.
Tony leaves to cherish, one son: Tony Michael; three grandchildren: Malakyy and Skyy Hilton, and Landon Lutz; two brothers: Johnathan (Tammy) Sterling, Rodney Sterling; two nephews: Kahleb and Josh Sterling; one niece: Talonah Sterling; two uncles and a bunch of cousins
Visitation for Tony will be 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East with service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery following the service.
