Tyler Dean Alexander, age 40, of Pleasant Hope, MO, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015 in his home. He was born March 18, 1975, in Springfield, MO, to John Alexander and Vicki (Derossett) Burk. Tyler was a 1993 graduate of Parkview High School. He was employed by Republic Roofing. Tyler enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his family. The greatest love of his life was spending time with his pride and joy, his daughter Emma.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Richard and Frances Derossett and paternal grandparents, Alvin and Dorothy Alexander. He is survived by his mother, Vicki Burk and husband Gerald of Spokane; father, John Alexander of Crane; one Brother,Jeff Alexander and wife Shelley, and their daughter, Madeline, Springfield; his daughter,Emma Alexander, Pleasant Hope, MO, and her mother Melissa Joy; three uncles, David Alexander, Bolivar, Andy Alexander, Hollywood CA, and Rick Derossett and wife Elaine, Ballwin, MO; two aunts, Linda Burton, Springfield and Luanne Johnson, Springfield; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, December 28, 2015, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO with Rev. J.R. Jim Rantz officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Memorial contributions may be made to the Emma Alexander College Fund in care of Greenlawn Funeral Home. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO.
