Arlene Baxter, 77, passed away in her home, with her family by her side, on Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Beloved mother and wife, Arlene was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Joe; and her father and mother, Robert and Lucille Toler. She is survived by her brother, Al (Dorothy) Toler; sister Lee Kanehl; brother Gerry (Rosalie) Toler; her children, Gladys (Michael) Radebaugh, Gay (Mark) Stratton, Karen Oglesby and Joe D. (Chris) Baxter; 19 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Arlene was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was dedicated to her family. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed fishing with her husband, and attending numerous sporting events and activities with grandchildren. Arlene loved traveling, reading, spending time with extended family and friends, and enjoying nature. She graduated from Senior High School in 1949, and was a member of South Side Baptist Church. Services will be held on Saturday, October 31, at 10 a.m., in Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial in Clear Creek Cemetery.
