Virginia Lea (Hutton) Morris, age 67, of Willard, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2020, at home, surrounded by her family.
Virginia was born July 30, 1953, in Bartlesville, OK to William and Opal Hutton. She was a graduate of Nowata High School. Virginia was united in marriage to Michael Morris on June 2, 1972, in Nowata, OK. Virginia served as Director of Worship and Outreach at Caney Assembly of God for 37 years. Virginia was very passionate about serving others. Her greatest love was her family.
Survivors include her loving husband, Mike Morris, of the home; two sons, Matt Morris and wife Tally, Springfield, MO and Andrew Morris and wife Allison, Edmond, OK; son by choice, Kyle McIntosh and wife Karie, Wichita, KS; seven grandchildren, Avery, Luke, William, Peyton, Addison, Jake, and Owen; one sister, Cathy Ketcher and husband Sam, Ozark, MO; nephew Daniel Ketcher, Springfield, MO; and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Opal Hutton.
A celebration of Virginia’s life will be at 2 p.m., Friday, August 21, 2020, at North Point Church, Springfield Campus, with a visitation from 1 p.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Willard, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Virginia’s name to the Springfield Dream Center. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
