Virgil Snowden age 85 of Walnut Shade, Missouri passed away on March 30, 2020 at Cox Medical Center in Branson.
He was born on August 25, 1934 at Ridgedale, Missouri the son of Johnie and Velma Jones Snowden. He was a lifelong resident of the area and was a home building by trade. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors are his six children: Charlene Marsh (Greg) Branson, Larry Snowden (Pam) of Walnut Shade, Missouri, Diana Evans (Tom) of Edmond, Oklahoma, Terry Snowden of Branson and Rhonda Rittenhouse, Eric Snowden (Amber) Hollister, Missouri and Melissa Snowden of Branson, Missouri. Five Brothers; Farris Snowden, Donnie Snowden, Bill Snowden, Earl Snowden and Bobby Snowden. Six Sisters; Jan Robbins, Rita Lawheed, Carolyn King, Brenda Rogers, Linda Cowan and Shirley Hunter. 15 Grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Maxine Snowden, three brothers, Lonnie Snowden, Allen Snowden and Kenny Snowden.
Private services are be held with burial to be in the Blue Eye Cemetery under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson.
