Willa Jean Romero, 75, of Aurora, MO, passed away early morning of July 8, 2016 in her home. She was born in Clio, Alabama to Henry and Rosa Clark on January 16, 1941.
God called another angel to heaven. A stubborn one she always was but loved she will always be. We all love you and will see you again one day in the Promised Land.
Jean is survived by her sister, Henrietta Clark Leo, of Wetumpka, AL and her four children, Tamera Butler and husband Darryl of Pittsburg, MO, Andrea Garzee and husband Kerry Duane of Pittsburg, MO, Cindy Magallanes of Aurora, MO, and Arthur “Joey” Stengell, Jr. and wife Kathy of Altus, OK, 11 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren with one on the way. She was preceded in death by her soulmate and husband, Arthur Joseph Stengell, Sr. and two sisters, Francis Jones and Louella Cox.
Jean loved spending time with all her family. She loved fishing, camping, crocheting, crossword puzzles, reading, and playing games on her tablet.
There will be a Rosary service on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from 6:00 to 6:30 PM, with the visitation to follow from 6:30 to 8:00 PM at Greenlawn Funeral Home South, 441 W. Battlefield, Springfield, MO. 65807. The funeral service will be Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 2:00 PM, in the funeral home. Rosary and service will be officiated by Father Tom Kiefer of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
