A Celebration of Life Service for Willagene “Jean” Clark age 91 of Taneyville, Missouri will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson with Rev. David Koenig officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the Helphrey Cemetery in Taneyville, Missouri.
She passed away on June 29, 2019 at the Forsyth Nursing and Care Center in Forsyth, Missouri.
“Jean” was born on May 7, 1928 in Bradleyville, Missouri to Hubert and Mary Dennis Floyd. She was a longtime resident of the area and retired in 1990 as postal clerk spending most of the time working at the Taneyville Post Office. She was a graduate of the Bradleyville High School and attended Southwest Missouri State Teachers College in Springfield, Missouri. She was a member of the Taneyville Union Chapel. “Jean” was united in marriage to Ike Clark on September 6, 1947 in Harrison, Arkansas and to this union was born three children.
Survivors are her three children: Stan Clark (Lori) of Forsyth, Missouri, Jane Hyder (Gary) of Nixa, Missouri and Judy Clark of Forsyth, Missouri, four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ike Clark and a brother, Eugene Floyd.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home
Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
