William James “Bill” Kerr, 79, Walnut Grove, MO. passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022, after a long illness. Bill was born in Springfield, MO. on September 23, 1942, to Bobbie and Beulah (Long) Kerr. He was a member of the Carpenter’s House Pentecostal Church, in Willard, MO. He was also a retired production worker for Sweetheart Cup Company. Bill loved working with his hands, fishing and riding motorcycles. Bill loved his life and spending time with his family.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Roy Kerr and sister-in-law: Vivian Kerr a great-grandson, and his son-in-law: Bill Krasser.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sherry Kerr, his four daughters: Kristina Sconce and her husband, David, Kerrie Krasser, of the home, Karla Barrett and her husband, Kelly, and Kami Lee Grider. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and two brothers: Larry Kerr and his wife, Linda, and Darrel Kerr and his wife, Liz, along with several nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2022, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
