William Lawrence Hedgpeth, 96 years old of Crane, Missouri passed away on September 21, 2022. He was born September 1, 1926, in Nixa, MO, the son of Roy T Hedgpeth and Iva “McConnell” Hedgpeth. He was of the Christian faith, accepting the Lord as a young man.

Lawrence attended Nixa High School, Nixa, MO. Served in the Korean War, Army Division.
He was well known and loved. He never met a stranger and was always willing to help others. Lawrence and his Brother, Ward, would Rodeo thru the Midwest riding Bareback horses and bulls. He loved to go to sales and trade horses, or actually would trade for about anything from horses to monkeys. He could always make people chuckle with his wit. He enjoyed farming and driving trucks.

Survivors include his children Beverly (Bob) Lewis, Crane, MO, Jerry Hedgpeth, Clever, MO, Sandra (Lonnie) Littles, Crane, MO and Linza (Kim) Hedgpeth, Marionville, MO. Grandchildren Bradly (Gena) Lloyd, Luke (Ivy) Littles, Abbi Littles. Great-Grandchildren Parker Lloyd and Colton Lloyd as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and beloved friends.

Preceding him in death was his Parents Roy and Iva, Brother, Ward “Cotton” Hedgpeth and Wife Betty Hedgpeth.

The family would like to say thank you for all the prayers, flowers, and a special thanks to the Cox Hospice team, especially Rhonda and Lacie.
