William “Lewis” Hinton, 66, of Springfield, MO went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday February 16, 2015 with his family at his side. Lewis was born October 26, 1948 in Borger, Texas to Roy & Gladys (Pierce) Hinton.
Lewis is survived by his wife Kathy, her 3 children he loved as his own; David Todd Coonis (Carey), Tammi Heim (Dave) and Melissa Schumpert (Doug) 7 grandchildren Kylie, DJ, Colby, Jordan, Alysa, Sarah and Haille and Brother Roy “Edward” Hinton (Carol).
Preceding him in death are his parents and 2 cousins. Lewis retired after nearly 30 years at Hiland Dairy. After retirement Lewis loved traveling, photography, being with his family and Ridgecrest Baptist Church where he was a devoted member.
Visitation is February 20, 2015 at Ridgecrest Baptist Church at 10:00 am with services at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers send donations to the mission department at Ridgecrest Baptist Church, 2210 W. Republic Rd Springfield, MO 65807.
