William Robert “Bob” Buckmaster II, 62, Springfield, was born May 30, 1947, and passed away August 26, 2009. Bob was a graduate of Hillcrest High School. He was currently retired. He was a member of Local Teamsters #245. On October 23, 1965, he was united in marriage to Mary L. Blood. He enjoyed his grandchildren, traveling, Nascar and baseball. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilma and Norma Buckmaster. He is survived by his wife, Mary L. Buckmaster; daughter Julie Witten and husband Dan; son William Robert Buckmaster and wife, Wendi; grandchildren, Sean Cook, Nathan and Andrew Buckmaster, and Eric, Jennifer and Kelsey Witten; brothers, Randy and Tim Buckmaster; sister Sally Kratzer; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 29, 2009, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be in Greenlawn Funeral Home North from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, August 28, 2009.
