Anthony Bishop, age 30, of Springfield MO passed away Thursday, September 22nd, 2016 in his home after battling brain cancer.
He was born October 19, 1985 in Springfield, MO to William Michael and Terena Lynn Bishop. He was a graduate of Parkhill South High School in Parkville, Mo. Anthony’s greatest love was his son Luke. His strong faith and love in the Lord was infectious. God gave him peace with no fear. Anthony is the person that would give you the boots off his feet and walk across glass so you would not have too. He loved working with his hands, he could fix anything. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and any outdoor activity. He also had a great love for car audio and loved to compete. Anthony worked in construction and was a roofer.
He was preceded in death by his paternal Grandmother Carol Bishop and paternal Great Grandfather Jim Bishop. Maternal Great Grandparents Ernest and Vernice Carlson.
Survivors include his parents, Mike and Angie Bishop of Springfield and Terena and Eric Browning of Parkville, MO; Son Luke Able Thomas Bishop his Fiancée, Erica Stapp of Springfield; Brother Matt Bishop and fiancée Lily Thompson, niece Ellie Bishop of Kansas City, MO; paternal Grandfather Ed Bishop, Springfield; paternal Great Grandmother Loreta Bishop, Ash Grove. Maternal Grandparents Wilbur and Dorothy Carlson, Grandparents Chuck and Donna Browning of Reeds Spring, MO; and many other close family and friends.

A celebration of Anthony’s life will be at 11:00 am, Friday, September 30, 2016 at James River Church North Campus, please park on west side and enter door 3, a reception will follow the services. The address for the North Campus is 3225 North Farm Road 123, Springfield, Missouri 65803.
