Willa Furn Lemmon, age 83, of Springfield, MO, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Cox Medical Center South, after a long illness. She was born May 15, 1932, in Polk County, MO, to Ray and Neva (Thorp) Harris. She was a member of the Berean Baptist Church in Springfield ,MO
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters; Wilma Blanton and Vera Lockhart, 3 brothers; Melvin, Dee and Willard Harris. She is survived by her husband of 59 years; Glen Richard Lemmon, of the home, 2 sons; Richard Lynn Lemmon, Springfield, MO and James Glen Lemmon, Springfield, MO a sister; Dorothy Faye Campbell, and her husband Bill Louisburg, MO, 2 brothers; Virgil Truman Harris,and his wife Dacus,and Howard Lee Harris, Bolivar,,MO. a special niece and her husband Ruby and Larry Clark she is also survived by several nieces and nephews, who loved her very much.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015 in Greenlawn Funeral Home North with Rev. Fred Reamsnider and Rev. Jeffrey Ables officiating. Burial will be held in Greenwood Cemetery, Bolivar, MO. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
