Jackie Eubanks left a message on November 24, 2019:
Our family could not have asked for a better neighbor. When a fuss was made about Marvin having helped my father split a tree, his comment was "well, that's what neighbors do". That was only one instance. We have never known such a generous man and our family has been truly blessed to have known him. Condolences to his family. Greg, Jackie and Wyatt Eubanks and Warren Smith

Marvin was one of the best men I have ever know, he was a real Christian gentleman, he was always kind and generous to everyone, I enjoyed his humor and wit, and he always enjoyed a good discussion, he was a pillar and rock to his family and extended family, he was faithful to his Church, and was loved deeply by his church family, my deepest condolences to the family, Ted

Marvin was one of the best people I have ever met throughout my career. He was a good, honestan of high character. I always appreciated his counsel throughout the years. The world is a lesser place without him but heaven has gained an angel. My condolences to the entire family. God speed Marvin.
Donald Buchanan left a message on November 23, 2019:
Marvin was my cousin and closest friend through Phillipsburg grade school, Conway high school and one year at Drury College. Our lives revolved around each other while growing up on farms at Phillipsburg. I have many, many fond memories of shared experiences during that time. Even though our adult lives took different paths, I always considered Marvin as the brother I never had. A big part of my earlier life is gone but glad to know he is in a better place and no longer suffering. Don Buchanan - Haslet, Tx. Maryella Tate - Tyler, Tx.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
