Sue Ann King-Wesley passed away peacefully in her home with family by her side on March 14, 2019. She was born in Springfield Missouri on February 28, 1953. She married George Wesley on July 14, 1994 he survives.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jimmie Lee King and Richard Bernard King, her sister Patricia Ilene Jones and one son Mario Allen.
She is survived by her two sons Richard D. Allen Jr. and his wife Shakira, Anthony A. Allen Sr. She is also survived by her aunts; Nancy Barge, Mary Owens, Mandy Candie, Rosemary Jackson, Sharon Williams, and Debbie Shockley, all of Springfield as well as one uncle Joseph Candie of Detroit, Michigan, 6 grandsons and 8 granddaughters as well as numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Sue loved to sing in which she had achieved a 40-year lifetime achievement award for her talented vocals in making music, Sue had attained a Bachelors Degree from MSU (formerly known as SMSU) she also loved dancing, traveling the world over and playing bingo with her mother, sister, father and husband.
Sue Ann loved reading daily scriptures with her husband, speaking the gospel, attending church and living in the presence of Jesus. While she will be deeply missed by all whom knew her, she is safe in the arms of the lord.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Funeral Services will be 11:00am, Thursday, March 21, 2019 at the funeral home with burial following in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Following the services, a repass will be conducted at Silver Springs New Hope Church in Springfield Missouri
