Fern Boshell was born September 19, 1926 to Lewis and Beth Boshell in Coldwater, Kansas. After graduating from Central Bible College in 1948, she married Ernest Kalapathy in 1950. Fern Boshell was born September 19, 1926 to Lewis and Beth Boshell in Coldwater, Kansas. After graduating from Central Bible College in 1948, she married Ernest Kalapathy in 1950. Her children and their spouses Marilyn (Dennis Kemper) and Paul (Jean) Kalapathy live locally. She has 5 grandchildren: Laurel, Kristin and Anna Kemper, and Paul Jr and Christiana Kalapathy. She and husband Ernest ministered faithfully for many years through the Assemblies of God US Missions department then retired in Springfield in 1983. Fern left a wonderful legacy of faithfulness to the Lord Jesus, love for her family, and compassion for others. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Lowell, Lamont, and Charles, and by her husband Ernest. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and sister Phyllis (Bill Pickens) of Atlanta GA.
Visitation will be 10am, Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019 with services following at 11am at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, 3506 North National Ave. Springfield, MO 65803.
