Donald “Craig” Johnson, 59, Battlefield, passed away September 25, 2018. Craig was born November 29, 1958 to Pete & Berniece (Colvard) Johnson in Springfield, Mo. Craig had many hobbies which included collecting the Peanut characters, playing golf and was an avid Cardinal fan. He loved the Lord and served him at Christ Community Church where he was head usher and was loved in Church and cherished by all who knew him.
Craig was valiant in his 10 year battle with cancer never complaining and loved living life to the fullest. He loved his family and friends and desired to be the best husband he could be to his loving wife Lisa.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Johnson, mother Berniece Johnson Taylor, brothers Rick Johnson, Bill Johnson, Sister Debra Fontaine and numerous special nieces and nephews. His father Pete preceded him in death.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 29th at Greenlawn Funeral Home East with burial folowing at Eastlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Christ Community Church
