“Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee God has granted Mary Ann Herron a ticket to see Muhammad Ali”. On June 22, 2018 at the age of 79, Mary Ann Herron received her crown from our Lord and Savior. Mary Ann was born on Dec 12, 1939 in Pocahontas, Ark. Mary Ann moved to Springfield, Mo in the early 1960’s with 3 of her 7 boys. Mary Ann was self-employed until she retired in 2018. Mary Ann was a faithful member of Greater Metropolitan Church in Springfield, Mo. Mary Ann will be remembered by her loving children Stephen(Tara), Larry(Shelly), Leroy(Maggie), Tony(Youlanda), Ramon, Bobby and her brother Jimmy Herron. Mary Ann will also be forever remembered by 13 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Mary Ann was predeceased by her mother Edith Herron, brother Bobby Herron and son Harry Herron.
Visitation will be held on Thursday July 5, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Friday July 6, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., both at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 3506 N. National Ave. Springfield, Mo. 65803. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery also on N. National Ave. Springfield, Mo.
