A Memorial Visitation for Garl Wayne Crosby age 75 of Omaha, Arkansas will be held Friday, February 9, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson. Military honors will be held at 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
He passed away on February 5, 2018 at Select Specialty Hospital in Springfield, Mo.
Garl was born on February 28, 1942 in Lanagan, Missouri the son of Floyd “Pete” and Alvenia Bryant Crosby. He spent most of his life in the community and graduated from Branson High School with the class of 1960. He served his country in the U.S. Navy, and was the owner and operator of Crosby Lawn Service. He loved to fish, pheasant hunting, football and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife, Kim Crosby of the home in Omaha, Arkansas, two children: Wesley Crosby of Kansas City, Missouri and Missy Karl (Ken) of St. Peter’s, Missouri. Five siblings; Lloyd Crosby (Norma) of Springfield, Missouri, Charles Crosby of Nixa, Missouri, Max Crosby (Kris) of Independence, Missouri, Maxine Woodworth (Ken) of Wichita, Kansas and Judy Scheihing (Richard) Pierce City, Missouri and three grandchildren, Hannah, Hayden and Holden Karl. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Betty Daniels.
