Donald Eugene Browning Jr. 59, known to his friends as “Poncho”, of Everton, MO. passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018, in his home after a long illness. He was born in Springfield, MO. on September 15, 1958, to Donald Eugene Browning Sr. and Joetta Mae (Brown) Browning. A long-time area resident, Donald was a maintenance mechanic for Mexican Villa for many years. He loved cars and spending time with his family. He was a friend and loved by many.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Deborah Tummons. He is survived by his wife Betty Jean Browning of the home, two sons: Donald E. Browning III and his wife Nicole and Philip E. Browning,and his fiancee Tiffany; two sisters: Donna Thornton and her husband, Chris, and Lisa Browning, two brothers: Danny Browning and his wife Jennifer, and Donnie Browning and his wife, Jena; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow, in Berry Cemetery, near Lawrenceburg, MO. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
