Joyce Naomi Lowe, 88, passed away in Springfield, Mo., on September 10, 2017. Joyce was born in Saco, Mt., on August 17, 1929. She graduated as Valedictorian in 1946 of Saco, Mt High School. Joyce worked diligently with her husband, Mel, growing their successful business, Helena Sand and Gravel. Once they sold their business they retired to Kuai, Hawaii. They later moved to Missouri where they spent their remaining years. Joyce loved to travel and win at the game of bridge. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Mel and her son Jim. Survivors include children; Lawson Lowe (Marsha), Cat Lowe, Kent Lowe and grandchildren Melanie Gonzales and Eric Lowe and her four great-grandchildren. Survivors also include her brother Gordon Pippin (Arlene) and lifetime friend Delores Erikson. Visitation will be at Greenlawn Funeral Home South 441 W. Battlefield on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 5 to 7 p.m. Graveside Service will be held at Hazelwood Cemetery on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. The family suggests that donations be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
