Edwin Lee Cunniff, Jr. is survived by his wife, Millis Cunniff, and their daughter Anna, along with Ed’s two other daughters, LeeAnn, her children, and another daughter, Patricia (Trish). Ed is also survived by a sister, DeAnna Gatrel, and two nephews, Trey and Zach in Washington State. Ed enjoyed a long, successful, career as a truck driver across the U.S. for thirty years and regarded as his companies “ace” driver, the one to always get the job done without fail. Prior to driving, Ed managed various grocery stores including Bob’s IGA in Kansas and Piggly Wiggly stores in Florida. Ed prided himself on hard work, integrity, character and provision for his family.
A Memorial Service will be held at Pitts Chapel, Bolivar, MO on Friday, July 21, 2017, at 1:00 PM. Online condolences can be made at www.greenlawnfuneralhome.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to Pitts Chapel, Bolivar, Mo.

I was privileged to meet Eddie and be baptized with him while he was here in Seattle. It was a special day for both of us, and I was particularly in awe of his beautiful spirit in spite of the health challenges he faced. He never stopped trusting God with his life, knowing that His Word is true. When most people would have given up, Eddie held even tighter to His Lord and His promises, and it was a beautiful testimony to all who had the privilege to know him.
I am also grateful for the strength and wisdom he shared through his sister, DeAnna. He would often provide Spirit-filled encouragement that blessed both of us. He will be missed on this earth, but I am forever grateful that we will see him again on the other side.
My thoughts and prayers are with his wife, sister, nephews, family and friends who will miss him terribly. He was truly loved.
