I have known Eddie since High School but a few years ago I got to know him on a much more personal level. Relationships were important to Eddie. He was always there for his family and friends when they needed someone. He had the biggest smile and best laugh of anyone else I know. Eddie always greeted me with a big hug. Eddie made such a positive impact on the world around him and he will be missed by so many. Eddie was a wonderful man and I look forward to the day I see my friend again. My condolences to his family and his many, many friends. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Ed was a protector of his sisters when they were young and provided great guidance. I was alway enthralled with his charisma and the way he was able to command a group of his friends. Humor with a touch of power and it was always eventful. I remember many laughs, mostly at my expense! Those were the best. My condolences.

I first met Eddie when we were young adults in Osceola. We instantly became good friend and I always had a blast hanging out with him. Later in life, I realized that he was more than just a good guy. I discovered a caring and giving man who deeply loves his family and God. You could trust and depend on him and he always had a way of making you feel special. You will be deeply missed my friend. God Bless

I was privileged to meet Eddie and be baptized with him while he was here in Seattle. It was a special day for both of us, and I was particularly in awe of his beautiful spirit in spite of the health challenges he faced. He never stopped trusting God with his life, knowing that His Word is true. When most people would have given up, Eddie held even tighter to His Lord and His promises, and it was a beautiful testimony to all who had the privilege to know him. I am also grateful for the strength and wisdom he shared through his sister, DeAnna. He would often provide Spirit-filled encouragement that blessed both of us. He will be missed on this earth, but I am forever grateful that we will see him again on the other side. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife, sister, nephews, family and friends who will miss him terribly. He was truly loved.

Eddie was the best brother in law a person could have. We had so much fun together in our early years. I could tell you countless stories of Eddie and our family. He was a great Uncle to our two boys, an incredible father, a very supporting son, a super brother to his sisters, and a loving husband. The thing I most remember about Eddie is, he was a calming man. We will miss you. Peace be with you my brother. Les

My brother, Ed, was my best friend, confidant, vault and gladiator who protected me all my life. He was a warrior and provider all his life, especially to the women assigned to him by God, and remained so to the end. My sons, Trey and Zach adored their “very cool Uncle Ed” as he did them. My precious brother did well in this world against so many odds, and I look forward to seeing him on the other side. He was a good man. I will miss you terribly, terribly, my brother. Love Sissy (DeAnna), your life-long admirer.
