Edgar T. Apperson, 91, Mount Vernon, Missouri passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at the Missouri Veterans Home in Mount Vernon, Missouri.
He was born March 9, 1925 in Miller County, Missouri to Floyd and Alpha (Skiles) Apperson.
Edgar was a United States Army Veteran.
Edgar was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, his daughter Jalene in 1950 and his wife Jeanne in 2010.
Survivors include his children Kathleen Farasy and husband Glen of Springfield, Missouri, Rhonda Perkin and husband David of St. Louis, Missouri and Becky Fisher and husband Mitch of Springfield, Missouri, six grandchildren, Jackie Enge and husband Jay and Jim Farasy of Springfield, Missouri, Joe Perkin and wife Erica of Kansas City, Kansas, Heather Bueno and husband David of St. Louis, Missouri, Autumn Baker and husband Austin of Ozark, Missouri and Rob Fisher and wife Rachel of Madison, Wisconsin and eight great grandchildren.
Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 2:30 PM Saturday, February 11, 2017 in Eldon Cemetery, Eldon, Missouri, officiated by Reverend Mitch Fisher. Memorial donations may be made to the Missouri Veterans Home, Mount Vernon, Missouri. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home East.
