Rebecca A. “Becky” Brooks, 68, Springfield, Mo., passed away October 3, 2009, peacefully at home with her family. She was born in Springfield on March 25, 1941. She was Grandma to many. Becky was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Evelina Fowler; and sisters, Betty and Glena. She is survived by her children, Richard Brooks, Lisa Reaves and Johnny Brooks; two grandsons, Joe and Joshua; brothers and their spouses, Art and Irene Fowler, and Joe Bill and Jojenia Fowler; and many other family and friends. Funeral services will be held in Greenlawn Funeral Home East at 10 a.m. Monday, October 5, 2009, with burial following in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be in the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, October 4, 2009. The family suggests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
