John Barry Livingston, age 101, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2009, in Woodland Manor. He was born June 6, 1908, in Hillsboro, Ill., to Harry O. and Mary (Barry) Livingston. He was a member of Pathways United Methodist Church. His parents; and his wife, Fern, preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter, Faye Bounous and husband, Elmer; grandson, Bobby; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2009, in Miller Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Tom Vanzant officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m., before graveside services, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Compassus, 1465 East Primrose.
