Michael Frizell, 67, a resident of Springfield, MO for the past two years and a former resident of Cherryvale, Kansas from 1977 to 2005, died Monday evening at Cox South hospital. Born in San Francisco, Calif. He and Norma Kovach were married on 10 September 1966 in East Brunswick, NJ. He retired in 2001 as an Operational Procedure Writer and new employee instructor with Farmland Industries, Coffeyville, Kan. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting deer and turkey.
Survived by wife, Norma Jean, Springfield; Son Michael Lewis Frizell II, Springfield; son & daughter-in-law David and Angela, Springfield, MO; son and daughter-in-law James and Tammy, Cherrvyale, Kan.; six grandchildren Tristan, Teryn, Chandler, Conner, Victoria, and Alexandria, and one great-grandson, Paxton.
Visitation on Thursday, December 3 from 4 to 6 p.m. and services Friday at 1 p.m. at Greenlawn South Funeral Home, 441 West Battlefield, Springfield, Mo. Internment 2:00 p.m. at Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery, Springfield.
