Gertrude L. Morrison, 79 went home to her lord and savior on February 23, 2012.
She was born to Earl and Mary Compton on March 31, 1932. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clinton Ray Morrison, her brother Richard Compton, two sisters, Barbara Stockstill and Shirley Compton, and her much beloved grandson Conner Keeling.
She is survived by her children, Karen Day, Cuba, MO, Joyce Eaton (Dale), Washington, IL, Diana Slater, Pembroke, KY, Larry Nailon (Christine), Bartonville, IL, Connie Keeling, Nixa, MO, seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and brothers, Robert Compton, Republic, MO, Lloyd Compton (Linda), Springfield, MO.
A memorial service is planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
